(This is last time we'll run this series for FREE - next round increases to $49)
Whether you're completely new to breathwork, looking to deepen your own practice, or wondering whether becoming a facilitator might be your next step, I'd love to invite you to join me.
Over three live online workshops, I'll be sharing some of the teachings and practices I usually explore inside Sõmsana Breathwork Facilitator Training. We'll look at how the breath influences our nervous system, how we can develop a greater capacity to be with life's experiences and to open ourselves to receive our manifestations, and how our own inner state can influence the way we connect with others.
But more importantly, we'll experience breathwork together. Because there's a difference between understanding something intellectually and actually feeling it in your own body.
Each workshop includes a blend of teaching, guided breathwork, reflection and time for questions. You don't need any previous experience, and there's no expectation to attend all three. You're welcome to come to one, or join me for the whole series. All three workshops are completely free.

One of the things I've learnt through years of teaching breathwork is how important it is to understand what's happening in our nervous systems.
So often, we try to think our way out of stress, anxiety or overwhelm, without recognising how much of our experience is shaped by what's happening in the body. And there's a big difference between trying to calm ourselves down and beginning to develop a genuine sense of safety within.
In this first workshop, we'll explore how the nervous system works, why we respond to life's experiences in the ways we do, and how the breath can support us in finding more steadiness and connection with ourselves.
By the end of this workshop, you'll:
My hope is that you leave with a little more understanding of yourself, and a little more compassion for the ways your body has learnt to respond to life.
Monday 7 December, 7pm-8.15pm AEDT (Via Zoom)
Once the body isn't bracing anymore, something else becomes possible. There's a version of you underneath all that guardedness that has more energy, more feeling, and more room to actually experience your own life, not just manage it.
Something I'm particularly passionate about is how we can use the breath to develop our capacity to experience life more fully. Not just to feel calmer, but to feel more. More present. More connected. More able to be with our emotions, our energy, our experiences and the infinite possibilities available to us.
In this workshop, we'll explore the relationship between breath, capacity and stepping into your highest potential.
By the end of this workshop, you'll:
Monday 4 January, 7pm-8.15pm AEDT (Via Zoom)
Your own nervous system doesn't stay contained to you, it moves into every space you enter and every person you sit across from, whether you mean for it to or not. Our nervous systems are constantly responding to the world around us, including the people we're connected to.
In this final workshop, we'll explore the science of co-regulation, the importance of presence, and how developing a deeper relationship with ourselves can influence the way we connect with others.
Once you've felt what safety and expansion actually feel like in your own body, this session shows you what that ripple can do for the people around you, and what it might be asking of you next.
By the end of this workshop, you'll:
"Joey is a truly extraordinary teacher. She creates space that is both safe and sacred, where you’re not just learning techniques to pass an assessment, you’re living inside the practice itself." - Tam Taouss
"Joey created a space where we felt safe, supported, and truly capable. No question or feeling was too much. Through her gentle guidance, she helped us build confidence, met us where we were, and always held us with love." - Joyce Pelle
One sign-up gets you all three workshops.
P.S. If you've been wondering whether Breathwork Facilitator Training is your next step, this series was built so you can find out for yourself. And if you already know it's calling you, payment plans are available for the next Sõmsana Breathwork Facilitator Training cohort, so the investment doesn't have to be the thing standing in the way.
With love,
